We are group 6. We provide a company named “FantasticTime” that offer the service of online TV watching and video games rental through DVD-by-mail in the UK.

1 customer segments
Different customer segment with specific needs
Existing  customer--this section of customer had accounts at FantasticTime, they like FantasticTime service and want get more benefit from the FantasticTime like some offer at special day.
New customer-these customer heard FantasticTime from friends , ads or search engine. They are curious about the service and product of the FantasticTime and possible to be a loyal customer of the FantasticTime.
Demographic segmentation- FantasticTime currently operates in Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and the UK, it provide different languages for customer in the Europe, there is no restrict on languages and area.
Psychographic segmentation- Customer can pay for per view in FantasticTime also can see some free movie provided by FantasticTime.  If customer like to collect DVD for the movie,  FantasticTime can post the DVD within one business day after customer pay for the DVDs. It is very convenient for watch movie even online or offline after you become a FantasticTime’s member.
Lifecycle stage- FantasticTime is the UKs supplier of rental DVDs, Blu-Ray, Games, TV series and movies online, with over 70,000+ titles available. People can buy different  games and movies in one purchase.  And customer also buy product as a gift for different age of people on  FantasticTime.
Behaviour – According different type of user FantasticTime put the link in different search engine. FantasticTime would like to provide some promotion code increase their sales.

The technological factors to be considered:
1.     There are serial devices can provide customers watch TV online. Customers can watch TV on a computer screen, a television screen (through a set-top box) or a mobile device like a smart phone or an iPod. Especially, some portable devices which lets customers more convenient to watch their favorite programs. 
2.     Many selling online TV websites offer on-demand services that customers do not have to keep track of scheduling. Because those websites using webcasting or real-time streaming video.
In order to reach customers interests, lots of websites use data mining to find out customers specific interests. For instance, if a customer like watch comedy movies, websites will recommend more similar type of movie for this customer

  1. Your description is detailed, I like the idea of a business that sells online and offline. This is a good mix of products. You also seem to offer customers some value that hopefully will keep them interested. The technology is here to enable people to have choice, and help them to watch what they want, when they want. Good ideas.
